Noah Garden Rooms is a family-owned British manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of premium bespoke garden rooms throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Sales Consultant to join our friendly team at our Telford showroom.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and converting enquiries into sales. You'll be responsible for guiding customers through their buying journey, from their initial enquiry through to placing their order, while providing exceptional customer service every step of the way.
Previous experience within the garden room industry is not required, as full product and systems training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email and showroom appointments.
- Using HubSpot CRM to manage customer enquiries, sales pipelines, quotations, follow-up activities and customer records.
- Preparing accurate quotations using company systems.
- Following up quotations and converting enquiries into sales.
- Processing customer deposits and payments.
- Reviewing all sales correspondence before sending to customers.
- Checking all order documentation for accuracy before manufacture.
- Carrying out pre-delivery and pre-installation checks with customers.
- Liaising with our logistics and installation teams regarding customer deliveries.
- Reviewing build sheets prior to production.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring CRM housekeeping is always up to date.
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience from first enquiry through to installation.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is confident, professional and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-facing B2C sales role.
- Previous experience using a CRM sales system. HubSpot experience is highly desirable, and candidates must be confident managing customer pipelines, updating records and scheduling follow-up activities within a CRM.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to prepare quotations, orders and customer documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Smart and presentable appearance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
- Willingness to work weekends as part of the sales team rota.
Experience within the home improvement, construction, conservatory, garden building or similar sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Weekend working on a rotational basis with the sales team:
- Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Weekend shifts are shared fairly across the sales team on a rota basis.
