Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and social skills in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support children during play, meal times, rest periods, and outdoor activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Manage daily routines efficiently, ensuring consistency and structure for the children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Uphold policies related to safeguarding, behaviour management, and equality
Requirements
- recognised childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative
- Passionate about working with children, with a caring and nurturing approach
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery environment

Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
