We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team on the night shift in Wombourne. The successful candidate will operate laser cutting machinery, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of parts. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate tube laser cutting machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise cutting.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency during operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance.
