Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and stations
- Handle phone enquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing information as required
- Assist with setting up event spaces or dining areas as needed
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and high standards of service
- Support the team during busy periods by multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Knowledge of guest services and serving procedures is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations will be beneficial
- Ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanour
- A friendly attitude with a genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service
