Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread and other baked goods according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during the preparation and baking process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and baking areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bakery or similar culinary environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for baking and culinary arts, with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Hours are 11pm-7am with Sunday and Thursday as days off.
