Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas
- Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues efficiently
- Assist with setting up dining areas before service and cleaning after closing shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Personable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
