Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dessert Maker to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and create a wide range of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and other confections.
- Assist in the overall kitchen operations, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure all desserts are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
- Make a wide range of drinks.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain accurate records of ingredients used and assist in inventory management.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in dessert or pastry preparation.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative desserts.
- Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who is willing to help others as needed and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere.
