Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £15 – £21 per hour (depending on shift)
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights available)

Pay Breakdown
- Weekday: £15.00 per hour
- Week Night / Saturday Day: £15.50 per hour
- Saturday Night: £16.00 per hour
- Sunday Day: £16.50 per hour
- Sunday Night: £17.00 per hour
- Bank Holiday Day: £20.00 per hour
- Bank Holiday Night: £21.00 per hour
Seven Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Senior Health Care Assistant to join a busy care home setting in Brighouse. This role is ideal for a confident and competent care professional who has previous experience supporting nursing staff and administering medication within a residential or nursing environment.
You will be working as part of a dedicated care team, supporting residents with a range of complex care needs while ensuring high standards of dignity, safety, and person-centred care are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents in line with individual care plans.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with protocols and training.
- Support nursing staff with clinical and care-related tasks as required.
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and nutrition.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect for all service users.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role within a care home or healthcare setting.
- Experience assisting nurses in a clinical or residential environment.
- Competence in medication administration (essential).
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively during both day and night shifts.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to care.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and care compliance standards.
