We are working with a respected and fast growing events business based in Herefordshire for an ambitious and diligent Logistics Manager on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing a dynamic team of logistics and warehouse professionals delivering equipment across major high-profile events and venues throughout the UK. This is a pivotal role ensuring equipment, stock and infrastructure are coordinated seamlessly, from setup through de-rigs, while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

- 48 hours per week, with frequent travel/overnight required during peak periods

What You Will Be Doing
- Working closely with Event Managers to ensure all logistical requirements are delivered on time and in full
- Planning and coordinating the movement of stock, equipment to events across the UK overseeing successful execution of logistics plans
- Managing the warehouse operation and personnel, ensuring efficient control of stock, equipment and assets, planning workloads, managing holidays and ensuring procedures are followed
- Managing and forecasting stock requirements to support upcoming events.
- Managing health and safety compliance, equipment inspections and operational due diligence activities
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and asset tracking through internal systems, overseeing all goods in and goods out activities
- Coordinating equipment maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of vehicles and event infrastructure
- Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and contractors
- Leading from the front and supporting logistics teams during busy event periods
- Reporting directly to senior management while collaborating closely with operational teams
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience managing a fast paced logistics, warehouse or supply chain operation essential
- Experience within the events, hospitality or related sector would be advantage
- Strong organisational skills with ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience managing teams and allocating resources effectively
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- Comfortable with UK travel, working in both an operational and office-based environment
- Ability to perform under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Experience with inventory management and stock control systems
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within warehouse and logistics environments
- Full UK driving licence essential
