Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, tidy, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with specialised cleaning projects when required, including deep cleans or specialised treatments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
