Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Kendal
Salary: £33,149 – £36,363 (39 hours per week) Plus: Sleep in payments of £68.25 per night (approx. £3,276 per year based on 1 per week over 48 weeks)

Our client are a 52 week specialist therapeutic centre with on?site education, supporting children aged 6–12 who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect. Their approach is rooted in therapeutic care, stability and a nurturing family ethos.
They are now recruiting a Team Leader for a 5 bed children’s home in Kendal.
What We’re Looking For:
Applicants must have relevant experience and hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), plus:
- Strong understanding of therapeutic care
- Experience planning activities for children and adults
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident administrative and organisational abilities
- Experience leading supervisions
- Ability to plan for groups and longer?term activities
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Full UK driving licence
This is a 39 hour a week role, working on a rota including evenings and weekends. Sleep ins are available.
