Truck Driver - Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to operate and navigate various types of delivery vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers
