Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and manage complex projects across various departments. Duties
- Lead and supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP or Workday to monitor project progress and resource allocation.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues impacting project timelines or quality, implementing corrective actions.
- Manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Control project costs through effective budgeting and resource management, maintaining financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams via platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
- Prepare and deliver presentations using Visio or other visualisation tools to communicate project status and outcomes clearly.
- Apply various project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe, or Agile frameworks like Jira or Basecamp as appropriate.
- Oversee content management systems for documentation and knowledge sharing purposes.
- Analyse data using SAS or similar tools to support decision-making processes related to product development or process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and best practices in project management.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.
- Strong root cause analysis skills coupled with problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent team management and leadership qualities that motivate teams towards shared goals.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and translating business needs into actionable plans.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Workday; familiarity with project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation.
- Competence in data analysis tools like SAS; experience with content management systems such as SharePoint or Confluence is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various project management frameworks including Waterfall and SAFe; familiarity with Agile tools like Jira is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
