Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start Available
We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Leicester for ongoing, full-time general haulage work.
This is a long-term Class 1 Driver role offering clean, organised work with minimal handball and consistent hours. You will complete 3–8 deliveries per day, making this an ideal position for a Class 1 Driver who wants straightforward routes, regular hours, and strong weekly earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
- Complete general haulage deliveries to commercial customers
- Carry out 3–8 deliveries per day
- Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork
- Ensure safe and timely deliveries
- Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience required
- At least 9 months recent Class 1 driving in the last year (Tacho checked)
- Ratchet strapping experience essential
- Strong level of English
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
