The Supply Room is seeking committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a supportive school in Bournemouth. You’ll gain valuable experience while being part of a positive and inclusive educational setting. The school supports children and young people from aged 5-11 with additional needs including autism, ADHD and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
This is more than a standard classroom support role - it is an opportunity to create a genuine impact by supporting students who thrive with structure, patience and positive reinforcement. You will be working alongside teachers and help adapt learning materials, reinforce lesson content and apply tailored strategies to provide meaningful, individualised support.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience or qualifications in Childcare, Youth Work, Sports Coaching or similar settings
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confidence in supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Full-time availability
Hours: 8.00 am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £92 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
