About the Role
As a General Support Intern, you will work closely with Freesia’s front-of-house and back-office teams to help deliver smooth day-to-day operations. You will gain valuable exposure to the non-clinical side of patient care.
What You Will Be Doing
- Welcoming clients and visitors at reception
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining administrative records and clinic setup
- Assisting with general logistics and service organisation
What You Will Learn
- First-hand experience in healthcare administration
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality and record-keeping
- Working with clinical and support teams to coordinate services
- Foundational skills for NHS, private, or voluntary health roles
Minimum Requirements
- Friendly, punctual, and comfortable interacting with people
- Organised and confident handling information
- Good written and spoken communication
- Comfortable using a computer or spreadsheets
- Interested in healthcare delivery or administration
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in reception, admin, or customer service
- Understanding of safeguarding or patient confidentiality
- Desire to pursue a health-related or people-focused career
