Assistant Football & Multi-Sports Coach
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and energetic Assistant Football & Multi-Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality PE, football and multi-sports sessions in primary schools.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for sport, and wants to inspire young people to be active, confident and enjoy physical activity. You will support the lead coach in delivering fun, engaging and inclusive sessions for children of all abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering football, PE and multi-sports sessions for primary school children.
- Support the lead coach in planning and setting up activities and equipment.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence and good sportsmanship.
- Help manage groups of children in a safe, positive and engaging manner.
- Adapt activities to suit different ages and abilities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, school staff and colleagues.
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- A passion for football, sport and working with children.
- Confident, enthusiastic and able to motivate primary-aged children.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience coaching football, PE or multi-sports is desirable but not essential.
- FA coaching qualifications, first aid or safeguarding certificates are an advantage but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial.
