Role: Plant and Machinery Sales Executive
Location: Cautrac, Bolton
Are you motivated and well organised with excellent communication and customer service skills. If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Cautrac as a Plant and Machinery Sales Executive to work from our Bolton depot.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Sales of New and Used construction and plant machinery, to both national and international markets
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio within a given region for new machine sales
- Dealing with customers for used machinery globally, nationally and in the stocking yard as required
- Use internal databases to identify sales opportunities, create interest, and generate own sales leads
- Assist in the purchase of suitable stock for resale
- Have input into advertising and promotions as well as attend national trade shows
- Follow up on leads - plan, input, and update customer records using a CRM system
- Achieve sales targets in line with predetermined company budgets
- Able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team, excellent phone manner, customer service & administrative skills
- Work in a safe manner that takes in to account your own, visitors and colleagues safety and wellbeing
What You’ll Need:
Coming from a Plant sales background with good knowledge of Plant and Machinery or previously having been involved in a similar role is advantageous however self-motivation, organisation, and the desire to learn would be seen as a minimum requirement. Good IT skills, attention to detail when completing paperwork, and a high standard of communication with customers is a necessity. A positive can do attitude along with a good approach to problem solving and ability to deal with multiple tasks at once is also seen as mandatory.
