Role and Responsibilities
This role is to assist in all aspects of the food preparation whilst developing their skills in order to be able to take more responsibility and deputise for others, for example during holidays.
- To assist in the overall operation of the kitchen: food preparation & service; hygiene and stock control.
- To prepare food for service to the specification required.
- To maintain a high level of hygiene in working practices at all times.
- To receive deliveries and maintaining stock in a diligent & hygienic manner.
- To operate kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work unsupervised in the Head Chef’s absence.
- Willingness to contribute to the development of new menu ideas.
- A flair for cooking and presenting food to a high standard.
We are looking for 1-2 chefs either part or full time depending on preference.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
