- CSCS Card is preferred but not essential. Candidate will need to obtain one before any lone working or on site on their own -
- Company Shirt, Hard Hat and High Viz will be provided. Employee must obtain their own Steel toe cap boots. -
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a professional and hygienic environment. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, New building Houses.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Use specialised cleaning techniques for sensitive or high-value areas when necessary
- Keep cleaning equipment clean and in good working order
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
- Good organisational skills to manage tasks within allocated timeframes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable
