Come and join our Workforce Success team, as a Workforce Success Administration Assistant, working alongside our Workforce Success Administrator, Finance Assistant and Group Finance Manager.
We are seeking an individual who has excellent attention to detail and accuracy, who works efficiently and independently, as well as exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
The successful candidate must have a strong focus on administration, displaying excellent teamworking and communication skills which are essential. The role entails having access to sensitive information; therefore, empathy and discretion are fundamental for success. The role offers variety, with responsibilities ranging from assisting with the administration of employee relations and recruitment, to training and maintenance of documents and records.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with absence management, including handling incoming absence calls, accurately recording absence details in the HR system, and promptly notifying the relevant department supervisors.
- Assisting with supporting the return‑to‑work process, including preparing and completing return‑to‑work meeting documentation following an employee’s absence.
- Assisting with the recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, short listing candidates and arranging interviews / outcome letters.
- Assisting with completing the induction process for new starters, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed, verified, and processed within the HR system.
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of structured training programs, ensuring all new starters complete and receive fully documented, role‑appropriate training.
- Assisting with the continuous improvement of company documentation, including SOPs, procedural guides, and toolbox talks, through regular review, updates, and creation of new materials as required.
- Assisting with the upkeep of essential HR monitoring tools such as probation tracking, right‑to‑work documentation, and training compliance logs, ensuring timely updates to reflect current employee information.
- Attending internal meetings as the designated note taker, ensuring meeting minutes are recorded accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner.
- Assisting with maintaining staff uniform stock levels, issuing uniform as required.
- Assisting with the weekly fire alarm testing.
- Assisting with writing internal and external letters and memos.
- Assisting with arranging training in line with statutory requirements and ensure employee training record are kept up to date.
- Assisting with raising requisitions and ordering goods and services with suppliers.
- Promote positivity in the workplace.
- Ad hoc duties and support for other departments.
