Criminal Duty Solicitor - Weston Super Mare
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Criminal Duty Solicitor to join a busy and well-established Criminal Defence team.
This role offers the opportunity to undertake a varied and rewarding criminal caseload, including duty solicitor work. The successful candidate will be able to join the Bridgewater Duty Solicitor Rota and provide cover at police stations across the surrounding areas, including Somerset and Bristol.
The position is primarily based at a Weston-super-Mare office when not attending court or police stations. Due to the nature of criminal defence work, a degree of flexibility is offered, including some home working where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Duty Solicitor qualification
- Experience handling a full range of criminal matters
- The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Strong advocacy, organisational and client care skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality criminal defence representation
