People Business Partner
Shape the Culture. Strengthen the Workforce. Make a Difference.
At Constantia Healthcare Group, we know that exceptional care does not happen by chance. It is built by exceptional people, strong leadership, clear values and a culture where colleagues feel respected, supported and empowered to succeed.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for an outstanding People Business Partner to help shape the future of our organisation.
This is not a traditional HR role.
This is an opportunity to become a trusted advisor, coach and partner to leaders across our homes and central support functions, helping to create workplaces where people thrive, teams perform at their best and high-quality care can flourish.
If you are passionate about people, culture, leadership and organisational excellence, we would love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
As a People Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting leaders across Constantia Healthcare Group to build high-performing, values-led teams.
You will provide expert guidance on people matters, support leaders through complex situations and help ensure that our people practices remain fair, consistent and aligned to our values.
Alongside day-to-day people partnering, you will contribute to organisational development, workforce planning, recruitment, employee engagement, wellbeing and workforce governance, helping to ensure that our people strategy translates into meaningful outcomes across the Group.
This is a varied, rewarding and highly visible role, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact across a growing healthcare organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as a trusted partner and advisor to managers and leaders across the organisation.
- Supporting the delivery of our People Strategy and wider organisational objectives.
- Providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and performance processes.
- Coaching and supporting leaders to manage people matters confidently, fairly and consistently.
- Monitoring workforce trends and people data to identify opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
- Supporting safe recruitment practices and workforce governance across the Group.
- Helping to shape positive workplace cultures where colleagues feel engaged, valued and accountable.
- Supporting organisational development initiatives, workforce planning and succession planning activities.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of people policies, procedures and best practice.
- Supporting colleague wellbeing initiatives and occupational health processes.
- Ensuring workforce systems, records and documentation are maintained to a high standard.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is not measured by policies written or reports produced.
It is measured by stronger leaders, more engaged colleagues, safer recruitment, better workforce stability and a culture where people feel supported to perform at their very best.
You will help create environments where managers feel confident, colleagues feel valued and teams are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
About You
You are an experienced people professional who combines strong technical knowledge with emotional intelligence, sound judgement and excellent relationship-building skills.
You understand that great people management is about balancing compassion with accountability, and support with challenge.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or within a similar people-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and people management best practice.
- Experience supporting complex employee relations matters.
- Experience working alongside operational leaders within multi-site environments.
- Experience using workforce systems and interpreting people data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
- The ability to build credibility and trust at all levels of an organisation.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine passion for people, culture and leadership.
Experience within health and social care, healthcare or another regulated environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
