Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a maths lecturer to join our cross-college team at our Cambridge campus.
We are looking for lecturers who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by helping them develop essential maths skills. As part of the cover team, you will cover classes when needed, delivering small group sessions and undertaking admin duties associated with the role.
We are looking for lecturers who can:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in maths to students of various abilities

Follow the curriculum and lesson plans provided, ensuring continuity in the learning process.

Adapt quickly to new classrooms and students, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.

Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive educational community.
What we are looking for in our role:
- Experience of delivering up to GCSE is essential

A patient and kind person to inspire and guide our learners to progress in their subjects

A L5 teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one in the next 12 months. Minimum A level/ Level 3 qualification in the subject you are applying to teach

This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, after tax. This payment is separate from teachers’ pay.
You can claim your payment if you are in your first 5 years of teaching in FE, teach at least 2.5 hours per week and meet the full eligibility criteria.
