Self-Employed | Commission Only | Hybrid (Remote + In-Home Sales)
Location: Newcastle, covering ALL NE postcodes
We’re looking for a driven, professional salesperson to join our growing home-security sales operation, working with one of the UK’s most trusted brands – ADT.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote (telephone/video) consultations with face-to-face sales appointments in customers’ homes. Due to demand, we are recruiting one person in the Newcastle area, to cover ALL NE postcodes. Please ignore the map on the advert, the suitable candidate will be based around the Newcastle area to ensure easy commute to appointments in and around the city.
All of the leads are warm, inbound enquiries — no cold door knocking.
The Role
- Selling ADT monitored alarm and CCTV systems to residential customers
- Handling warm and inbound enquiries only
- Conducting remote consultations and system designs
- Attending face-to-face sales appointments in customers’ homes within your local area
- Managing your own sales pipeline from enquiry to completion
- Closing deals and progressing installs

Must Haves
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Must be based in Newcastle or surrounding - to cover company appointments in any of the NE postcodes.
- Willing and able to attend customer properties
- Own vehicle required (no company car provided)
- Own mobile phone required for calls and customer contact
- Company iPad provided
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience (telesales, in-home sales, B2C or similar)
- Confident, personable communicator with a consultative sales approach
- Comfortable working on a commission-only, self-employed basis
- Full UK driving licence required
- Security or alarm industry experience is a bonus (full training provided)

Earnings
This is a commission-only, performance-based role with uncapped earning potential.
- Remote / telesales installs:
Commission paid at £100 - £200 per completed install
- Face-to-face (in-home) sales installs:
Commission paid at £150 - £350 per completed install
Actual earnings depend entirely on individual performance.
