Join the Team at Radnor - IT Support Specialist
As IT Support Specialist at Radnor Hills, you’ll be based on site and will provide first-line technical support to employees with software, hardware, network and business applications ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role offers plenty of variety – from supporting office-based colleagues to heading out on site to solve IT issues in our warehouses – you will certainly be kept busy.
You will troubleshoot issues, maintain IT systems, and contribute to continuous improvement of our IT operations.
Main Duties Will Include:
- To manage all configurations within the Microsoft Business Central system. Conduct regular audits and checks to maintain the integrity of the stock data and identify user errors.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts promptly and support in training end users and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Work with IT to implement security measures and updates for the system and proactively identify areas for improvement in processes.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents involving Windows, macOS, mobile devices, printers, WMS scanners and business applications.
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Candidate Requirements
· GCSE English and Maths.
· Ideally you will have some experience in an IT support or service desk role however, you might be someone with a keen interest and be able to demonstrate a solid IT competency.
· Experience using and trouble shooting skills across Windows 11, Office 365 and common enterprise applications.
· Back-end system configuration.
· Problem solving mindset with attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Positive attitude.
Hours and Location
For this position you must be able to commute to our main site in Knighton, Powys and be happy to work 12-hour day shifts (0600-1800) on a 4 on, 4 off rota basis once the initial induction period is complete.
