Job Summary
Industria Personnel are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team at Neovia Logistics on a rotating shift basis. Fantastic Opportunity to join our client, Neovia, who are an Aerospace and Defence Logistics Warehouse who supply aircraft parts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient handling of materials, stock management, and order fulfilment within our busy warehouse environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are keen to develop their skills in a dynamic setting. The role involves operating warehouse equipment, SAP, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Shift Pattern - Candidates must be able to commit to both shifts alternating weekly
- Monday to Friday 06.00 - 14.00 - Week One
- Monday to Thursday 14.00-22.00 & Friday 12.00 - 20.00 - Week Two
Duties
- Managing stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory records
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch in accordance with company procedures
- Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Performing routine mechanical checks on equipment and reporting any faults or issues
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment or similar logistics role
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Experience in shipping & receiving, picking & packing, and stock management
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse machinery is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
