Are you an experienced Manager in Children's Residential Care or a Children, Young People and Families Manager in the Community in either local authorities, health organisations, educational and early years settings or children's centres?
We are recruiting for freelance assessors minimum 2 days per week in end-point assessing. This involves carrying out assessments on apprentices who have been working towards their apprenticeship on the following programmes.
- Children and Young People and Families Practitioner
- Children and Young People and Families Manager
- Early Years Educator
- Early Years Practitioner
You don’t need any previous assessment experience or qualifications, we will provide you with all the training you need. Assessments are mostly completed over web conference calls however there may be some travel involved to assessments at the apprentice's place of work.
What does it involve?
Reviewing work submitted by the apprentice and carrying out a one-to-one discussion about their role and their training programme. Most assessments will be carried out over web conferencing in your own home. Each assessment takes around 4 hours and then you will write a report and upload to our systems.
What do you need?
- Knowledge of the children, young people and family sector
- At least 2 years experience of competence-based interviewing within the last 5 years
- Qualified to at least level 5 in the children, young people and family sector
- Driving licence with own transport and willingness to travel to assessments if needed
