- Self-starter who is happy to provide a first draft quickly and to iterate multiple times to perfect a particular communications piece on time
- Technologically competent and willing to dive into new processes and systems to test and experiment; focused on results in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
- Sound judgment to drive communications initiatives, with excellent skills in stakeholder management, networking and relationship-building
- Responsible for creating, managing, updating and communicating content across platforms (website, email, One Data World) and social media channels on an ongoing basis
- Create and issue a quarterly account newsletter using content and contributions from across the account team and internal and external updates
- Support the team in enhancing their communication skills by helping to write/edit communications, publications and provide feedback and guidance
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
- Prepare detailed communication and account media activity reports
- Liaise with internal communication and marketing colleagues to ensure consistency and maximise reach and audience through internal and external channels
- Plan and manage the design, content and production of all marketing materials in line with EMCOR Policy
- Work with internal and external marketing departments to generate new ideas and strategies
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
- Develop content and direct creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful messaging
- Identify and present opportunities for consistency in messaging and customer experience across all channels from in-house platforms to signage
- Develop an understanding of account objectives/initiatives to inform and shape communications aimed at maximising team effort, contribution and achievements in line with goals
- Stay informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation
- Facilitate the account Voice of the People forum, ensuring all teams are represented and act as the spokesperson for their team members in the forum, canvassing for thoughts, ideas and contributions in between meetings
- Own and lead the account Culture Change Program alongside the Account Director and Account Manager
- Act as the conduit between the Voice of the People forum and account SLT to ensure ideas and proposals are harnessed, assigned tasks are communicated, actioned and progressed and engagement is meaningful and aligned with account strategies
- Support HR activities, investigations, meeting support as required

- Knowledge and experience of facilities management in practice and in complex environments
- Familiar and competent in the use of social media channels
- Competent in the use of IT applications i.e. Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong, versatile copywriting skills
- Good organisational planning and coordination skills
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritise as needed
- Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently
