Part-Time Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver

Drivers Plus is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver for an ongoing, part-time position with a well-established client based in the Leeds area.
This role offers regular, long-term work on fixed nights each week, making it ideal for drivers seeking consistent part-time hours. You'll become a valued member of a professional transport operation with the opportunity to build a strong working relationship with our client.
Shift Pattern
- Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights
- Start times from 17:00
- Typical shift length: 10–12 hours
- Ongoing, regular work
Pay & Benefits
- £19.00 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)

Please note: A £1.00 insurance contribution may apply per shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles on night trunking operations
- Delivering to and collecting from pallet distribution hubs
- Opening and closing curtains as required
- Securing loads using straps and load restraint equipment
- Completing vehicle checks and transport documentation accurately
- Waiting during forklift loading and unloading operations
- Maintaining high standards of road safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Must have actively driven commercially within the last 6 months
- Previous curtain sider experience is essential
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Ability to provide employment references covering the previous 2 years
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach to work
- Strong communication and timekeeping skills
