Our new Secondary School Tuition Academy is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Tutors to support secondary school pupils in achieving academic success.
We provide high-quality one-to-one and small group tuition for students studying the Scottish Curriculum, helping them prepare for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher examinations.
We are recruiting tutors in:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- General Science (S1–S3)
About the Role
As a Science Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging and interactive tuition sessions.
- Support students to improve their understanding and confidence in science.
- Prepare pupils for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher examinations.
- Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Teaching qualification or previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary school students.
- Excellent knowledge of the Scottish Curriculum and SQA qualifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for helping young people succeed.
- Registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (where applicable) or eligibility to register.
- PVG Scheme membership, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
