Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner (Casual) to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and ensure all areas are tidy
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour while representing the organisation
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to instructions
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
