Multi-Trade Operative – Maintenance & Aftercare
Location: London & South East England
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract (Flexible Depending on Candidate)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 - Negotiable dependent on experience & qualifications
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team, supporting maintenance and aftercare projects across London and the South East of England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work across a variety of domestic and commercial sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works while supporting ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and aftercare works across multiple trades
· Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
· Perform multi-trade duties including basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance
· Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard
· Support roofing, mechanical, electrical, and construction works where required
· Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
· Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and site procedures
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
· Communicate effectively with site teams, management, and clients where required
· Manage workload independently across multiple sites and locations
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or in a similar maintenance/building role
· Strong all-round skillset across multiple trades
· Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
· Excellent attention to detail and finishing standards
· Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Full UK Driving Licence
· CSCS Card
· Clean DBS check
· Own vehicle advantageous (expenses covered where applicable)
