ADE Power Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality power solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke generators and associated systems. We are looking for a skilled and reliable FLT Driver to support our busy production and yard operations. You will play a key role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently across site, supporting production teams, and ensuring deliveries are loaded and unloaded in a timely, organised manner.
- Operating FLT trucks ranging from 2T to 7T (counterbalance).
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Feeding materials to production teams to maintain workflow.
- Moving goods, components and finished products around site.
- Supervising and coordinating deliveries as required.
- Completing basic checks and reporting any defects or hazards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
- Experience operating several sizes of counterbalance trucks.
- Previous FLT experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work safely, efficiently and independently.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Conscientious, self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Comfortable working at pace to support production demands.
The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, from 2pm to 12:30am, Monday to Thursday. The business is closed for Bank Holidays, we also enjoy a shutdown every Christmas until after the New Year.
