Social Media & Content Manager
Our client is looking for an experienced, creative and organised Social Media & Content Manager to help grow their online presence and brand awareness.
This is a hands-on role, you will manage, structure, and elevate existing content across all social media platforms. You will be responsible for both creative output and content direction, ensuring all activity is aligned, consistent, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Develop and implement social media and content strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and sales
- Create engaging photo and video content for social media and marketing campaigns
- Plan and manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting and messaging
- Work closely with the business owner to support brand development and marketing initiatives
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement
- Research market trends, competitor activity and customer engagement opportunities
- Help shape and strengthen the brand across all digital channels
- Attend photoshoots, content creation days and occasional events
- Provide holiday and absence cover when required
Skills & Experience
- Proven background in social media, content creation, and brand marketing
- Ideally from a fashion, lifestyle, or beauty background
- Ability to develop and implement engaging social media and marketing strategies
- Strong photography and video content skills
- Confident using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Experience managing platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels
- Ability to create and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms
- Creative, organised, and proactive approach with the ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas
Salary & Working Hours
- Part-time or full time hours will be considered ; including Saturdays
- Office-based role in Biggleswade
- Self-employed arrangements will be considered
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.00–£20.00, dependent on experience
- 21 days' annual leave (pro rata for part-time ) plus bank holidays for PAYE employees
