Chef De Partie role – Northbrook Arms
East Stratton, Hampshire SO21 3DU (sitting equally between Winchester and Basingstoke)
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Due to our rapidly expanding business we are looking for a passionate and ambitious chef de partie to join our team at the Northbrook Arms . You will work within a talented kitchen team that includes a Head Chef, Sous Chef, CDP's and KP's to produce quality freshly prepared dishes in our independent pub that has a reputation for high quality dishes cooked in house.
You will be working within a well kept modern kitchen that serves a bar area, modern restaurant and function spaces. There is also extensive outside dinning areas and the site has a variety of accommodation.
SALARY AND PACKAGE
· £13 per hour (45 hours a week) dependant on experience and tronc tips which take the full hourly rate to £15-£18 per hour. 28 days holiday.
· Shifts are allocated within the needs of the business but will be across seven days with two consecutive days off.

· 40% discount on food for the employee when on shift and one free meal for shifts over 7 hours.

· At least bi-annual team days
NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS
· Full Driving Licence.
· Team player.
· Right to work within the UK.
· Calm and controlled personality.
· A passion for high quality food.
· Previous experience in a kitchen.
DIRECT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Delivery of quality food alongside the kitchen team.
· Assist in maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.
· Assist in maintaining cleaning standards and records within the kitchen.
· Assist in managing stock and controlling fridge, freezer standards.
· Adhere to allergen and dietary laws.
