Qualifications, certifications, requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Hairdressing
- Proven salon floor experience
- Confidence in cutting and styling
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- 3+ years’ salon experience
- Colour skills including highlights, balayage, and corrections
- Existing or growing client base

3 years’ experience with a varied portfolio
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments
- Create personalised looks tailored to individual client needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and consultation
- Build and maintain your own client base
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation
- Manage your own appointments, tools, and colour stock
- Contribute positively to the salon’s professional atmosphere
