About the role
Hambro Roofing have an exiting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, into what will be new a role in a new department.
What you will be doing
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to the Business Owners of and will be tasked with roles and responsibilities such as;
- Preparation of monthly cost reports.
- Procurement & Commercial management of sub-contract accounts from tender to final account.
- Preparation & submission of interim payment applications & final accounts.
- Identification & agreement of variations with sub-contractors & main contractors.
- Early identification of project cost related problems, including implementing & overseeing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Value Engineering.
- Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Ensuring that contract cashflow is constantly maintained.
- Preparing turnover and profit forecasts.
- Assisting the estimating & procurement departments.
- Any contractural issues that may arise
Who we are looking for
You will have;
- An understanding in Contract Law and Insurance.
- Have a degree/HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Roofing QS.
- You will be ambitions to help grow the company through 2018 and beyond.
- You will have the experience and confidence to run your own projects.
- Excellent IT Skills using Excel, use of Apple Mac is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent and strong attention to detail
- Must be efficient and self motivated.

We aim to provide an honest, up to date and professional approach to roofing, working to the highest standards using quality materials and qualified, experienced operatives. We want to be the ‘go to’ roofing contractor.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
