Summary
R Collard is looking for a bright and ambitious Cashbook and Credit Controller to join their friendly team in Eversley. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail orientated professional who enjoys building strong relationships, reducing debtor days, and supporting business cash flow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Post bank and cash transactions
- Reconcile cash books
- Process payments and BACS uploads
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
- Chasing overdue debts via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Resolving invoice queries and payment disputes efficiently.
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.
- Producing aged debt reports and providing regular updates to management.
- Monitoring credit limits and assessing customer creditworthiness.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Cashbook Controller or Accounts Receivable role
- Confident managing high-volume collections activity
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel and finance systems (EvoMX desirable)
- Experience working within an SME environment would be advantageous
- Full driving licence
- Competetive salary depending on experience
Pay: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
