Marks Electrical Limited are a Leicester based retailer, with a turnover of over £32m annually. Specialising in home entertainment and domestic appliances, delivering to happy customers, nationally for over 30 years.
The Role – It’s all about customer experience.
As one of our 7.5t Multi Drop Delivery Drivers, you will ensure customer orders arrive at their intended new home in a timely manner, safely unloading, unwrapping and installing their purchases and making them comfortable before starting a long and happy life with their new owners.
Whether it’s a new American Fridge Freezer for the Barker family in London, or a new Food Mixer for Mrs Jones baking for the village hall summer fair in York, we are looking for drivers to can interact with all walks of life, while being a Brand Ambassador for this family owned business.
You will travel the country taking in some amazing sights, in a top of the range Mercedes 5t or 7.5t vehicle while fulfilling deliveries and keeping to scheduled routes, meeting a wide range of people. When you’re not on the road, you will be expected to make sure your van is in excellent condition, clean, roadworthy and fit for the next days deliveries.
It would be preferable if you possessed basic plumbing skills such as plumbing in a washing machine, although training will be given on some of the more intricate installations.
Making sure you and we are fully compliant with all Health and Safety protocols and Road Laws, we all want to go home safely each night.
We work on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern within the transport team, but if you’re saving up for a summer holiday or the kids are asking for a new Atari or Sega Megadrive for Christmas there is plenty of overtime on offer.
About You
Have had a 7.5t licence for at least two years, with no more than six points on your licence. A valid Tacho Card and CPC certification are also required. Be fit and healthy as there’s a bit of heavy lifting to do!

A maximum of 6 points for minor / speeding offences only on your licence.
