An opportunity has arisen to take on another Class 1 Driver to start from April. PAYE only.
We are a small family-run company based in Erith, South East London. We have a handful of trucks that service the Container Industry and some General Haulage.
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, hardworking individual who will fit in well the family ethos of the company. Full DCPC is required and a full C+E Licence endorsed with no more than 6 points. ADR would be preferred, but not essential.
Most of the work will come from London Gateway or Tilbury Ports.
We have a very varied work load, which varies from general container deliveries to tautliner deliveries. There is the opportunity if you would like for event work and we also run alongside our haulage company a furniture fitting company, which means we can generally always give you work even if assisting our furniture fitters driving 18/26t into London. Weekend work occasionally available but not expected.
We do generally operate with 4-5am starts, this isn't flexible.
It is a very close knit and personal company, so a hard-working and dedicated driver will do well here. You will not be “Just a Driver”, but a respected and valued member of staff.
