About Acting Office
Acting Office is a London-based SaaS company building the all-in-one practice management platform for UK accounting and bookkeeping firms. Our platform consolidates CRM, workflow automation, AML/KYC compliance, tax filing, payroll, and accounts production into a single system, replacing the fragmented software stacks that slow firms down. We are growing fast and looking for talented people who want to make a real impact in the accounting technology space.
About the role
As Accounting Specialist, you will be the product authority in every sales conversation. Your primary focus is delivering compelling, tailored product demonstrations that help prospective accounting firms understand exactly how Acting Office solves their day-to-day challenges. - Translate complex platform capabilities across CRM, Practice Management, Workflow, Tax, Accounts, Payroll, and Bookkeeping into clear, compelling narratives for firm partners and decision-makers.
- Respond to technical and product questions during demos with clarity and confidence.
- Customise demo environments and scenarios to reflect prospects’ real-world workflows.
2. Pre-Sales Support
- Support discovery sessions to uncover technical pain points and map them to Acting Office features.
- Help BDMs build business cases and address objections with evidence-based product knowledge.
- Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation as needed.
3. Travel & Client Engagement
- Travel to prospect and client sites across the UK as required to deliver in-person demonstrations and support the sales process.
- Represent Acting Office professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and clients to support conversion and long-term retention.
4. Feedback & Collaboration
- Feed insights from the field back to BDMs and the product team to improve demos, sales materials, and the platform itself.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs following deal closure.
