We are looking for an experienced live-in carer/PA who can help to look after our Mum Dorothy for up to three consecutive days when cover is needed.
Dorothy is an elderly female with vascular dementia who is happy living in her own home. She requires a carer/companion to help with cleaning, meal preparation, medication reminders and friendship. Dorothy enjoys jigsaws, knitting, crossword puzzles and conversation and requires some support with activities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The carer/PA must be caring, experienced, reliable, trust-worthy, responsible, and hard-working, and must have the relevant qualifications (i.e. NVQ level2/3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, and DBS certificate. The carer must also be able to communicate effectively with both Dorothy and her family and other carers.
