About the Role
This is a dual-function position combining sales administration and transport/logistics coordination.
You’ll act as a key link between customers, sales teams, warehouses, and transport providers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and deliveries are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare sales orders, and invoices
- Liaise with customers on order status and delivery schedules
- Maintain and update CRM and customer records
- Support the sales team with reporting and administration
- Handle customer queries professionally and promptly
Transport & Logistics Coordination:
- Arrange transport bookings with approved carriers
- Schedule deliveries and collections to meet deadlines
- Monitor shipments and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Ensure transport documentation is accurate and compliant
- Liaise with warehouses, drivers, and customers
- Support cost-effective transport planning
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries
- Produce reports on sales and transport performance
- Assist with stock coordination where required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and H&S
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in sales administration, logistics, or transport coordination
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
