Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Window Tinter to operate as a self-employed professional. The ideal candidate will specialise in applying window tinting films to vehicles & Commercial Applications & knowledge would be advantageous. only experienced applicants with a keen eye for detail need apply. This role offers flexibility and independence, suitable for experienced individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Duties
- Measure and prepare surfaces for tint application, ensuring cleanliness and proper adhesion.
- Cut and fit window films accurately using specialised hand tools and power tools.
- Apply tint film smoothly, avoiding bubbles, creases, or imperfections.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with tools or materials during installation.
- Handle heavy lifting when manoeuvring large or awkwardly shaped window films or equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining the process and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest tinting techniques and safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in window tinting or related trades such as vehicle wrapping or film application.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for handling tools and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., squeegees, knives) and power tools (e.g., cutting devices).
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large sheets of film or equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision in measuring and applying films.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills to manage appointments independently. This role is ideal for individuals who are confident working independently, possess relevant technical skills, and take pride in delivering high-quality work within the window tinting industry.

Bay Rental is £350 Pcm plus utilities.
Potential Bay earnings of over £80,000+
