Café Team Member

Pay: National Minimum Wage + £0.25 per hour
Hours: Flexible, including evenings, weekends and school holidays.
About the Role
Vertigo Trampoline Park is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Café Team Members to join our team.
Our café serves a range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks to customers visiting the park. This role involves preparing and serving food, assisting customers, operating the till, maintaining cleanliness standards and helping ensure the café runs smoothly during busy periods.
No previous catering experience is required as full training will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and drinks in accordance with company procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently following training.
- Prepare simple menu items including burgers, chips, paninis and other café products.
- Reheat and present food products to company standards.
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately.
- Assist with stock rotation, replenishment and storage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café, kitchen and customer seating areas.
- Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties where required.
- Support colleagues and assist in other areas of the business when needed.

Desirable
- Previous experience in a café, hospitality, retail or customer service environment.
- Basic food preparation experience.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (training can be provided).
- Experience using tills or handling cash.
