The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major residential development in Leeds. This is a long-term contract on a large-scale scheme comprising over 600 apartments, offering excellent continuity of work for the right candidate.
Working alongside the site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical subcontractors, driving quality standards, and ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising mechanical subcontractors on site
- Managing and monitoring installation quality and QA procedures
- Carrying out inspections and snagging activities
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Reviewing and managing RAMS and site documentation
- Coordinating labour and materials with subcontractors
- Attending site meetings and reporting progress
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure programme targets are achieved
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on residential projects
- Experience delivering large apartment, high-rise residential, build-to-rent or student accommodation schemes
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services installations
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain quality standards
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation and site documentation
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
- CSCS Card required
- First Aid qualification advantageous
