We are looking for a motivated and professional Property Lettings Negotiator to join our lettings team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and sales skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced property environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing lettings enquiries, arranging and conducting viewings, negotiating offers, progressing tenancies, and delivering an excellent experience to both landlords and tenants.
We would ideally like to hear from candidates who are ARLA qualified or currently working towards a relevant lettings/property qualification, although this is not essential for the right person with suitable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming lettings enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Registering applicants and matching them to suitable rental properties
- Booking and carrying out property viewings
- Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and tenants
- Progressing applications and supporting the tenancy process from offer through to move-in
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants
- Keeping property details and applicant records up to date on the CRM system
- Generating new business opportunities and supporting landlord retention
- Assisting with marketing properties across online portals and social media where required
- Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and company procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience in residential lettings
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A professional, confident and friendly manner
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, target-driven approach
- Good IT skills and confidence using property software / CRM systems
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- ARLA qualification or willingness to work towards it would be highly desirable
