Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a clean and safe environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is fully paid and suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of domestic properties, including offices, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and all other rooms
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and materials to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with company policies
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
