Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the Anglesey Circuit site, including offices, toilets and showers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organised, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills within a professional setting.
The role includes supporting larger race events, supported by the circuit ground staff, the position requires pre, during and post event, cleaning and restocking of toilets and showers. This part of the role, can be flexible hours and also will require early and late working.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces in accordance with company standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products as needed.
- Dispose of waste safely and responsibly in designated disposal areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely to prevent damage or hazards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety policies at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
